Ilia State University Professor of Engineering,\u00a0Ozgur Ki\u015fi,<\/a>\u00a0is on the 2021 list of influential and Highly Cited Researchers\u00a0(Highly Cited Researchers\u2122)<\/a>\u00a0by Clarivate.<\/p>\n

The 2021 list recognizes 6,602 researchers from more than 70 countries and regions and includes 24 Nobel laureates.<\/p>\n

Professor Ozgur’s inclusion in the list of influential and highly cited researchers by Clarivate is gratifying because the data of none of the researchers working in Georgia to date has been included in this list.<\/p>\n

The annual list identifies researchers from across the globe who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields by publishing multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. The Highly Cited Researchers’ names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science\u2122 citation index.<\/p>\n

The methodology that determines the “who’s who” of influential researchers draws on the data and analysis performed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at the Institute for Scientific Information\u2122 at Clarivate.<\/p>\n
