On March 7, with the EU support, the awarding ceremony of the graduates of youth tech club networks\u2019 was held at\u00a0Gurjaani Technopark<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by students of\u00a0Akhasheni Public School<\/a>,\u00a0Gurjaani Public School<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Guram Chilashvili Gurjaani Public School #4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Graduates of the Tech Clubs Network were awarded with certificates for successfully completing programming and entrepreneurship courses in Python and WordPress.<\/p>\n

The participants were awarded by the representatives of youth tech club network: project manager Ketevan Darakhvelidze, program coordinator and technical advisor Avtandil Mghebrishvili,\u00a0 project monitoring coordinator Patty Tsereteli, and Gurjaani Innovation Center Manager Elene Gogolashvili.<\/p>\n

\u201cYouth Tech Clubs Network\u2019 project has shown that there is a great potential and demand for technology education potentially linked to development and youth employments in the regions. In response, this type of intervention and training are particularly conducive to youth involvement and professional growth.\u201d-\u00a0Ketevan Darakhvelidze, Project Manager, Youth Tech Clubs Network Project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This type of training promotes the development of clubs in the required professions of programming, tech entrepreneurship, robotics, design or other areas, which is quite important for the regions. Many young people are given the opportunity to develop their skills and work on innovative projects that will be useful in the future.\u201d-\u00a0Avtandil Mghebrishvili, Coordinator and Technical Advisor, Youth Tech Clubs Network Project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u2018Youth Tech Clubs Network\u2019 project is funded by the European Union for Georgia (EU4G). The intervention is implemented by Ilia State University (ISU) in partnership with Georgia\u2019s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Georgian ICT Cluster, and Innovative Education Foundation (IEF).<\/p>\n
