Within the framework of Iliauni Sunday School, Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering in cooperation with Cyber laboratory Unilab gives you a unique opportunity to gain funding from the university and master the graphic language of drawing to X-XII grade pupils from all over Georgia interested in design-technological and design activities from all over Georgia.

Due to the epidemiological situation in the country, the project will be implemented remotely.

Pupils selected through a competition will have the opportunity to complete an 8-week practical course “Graphic Drawing Language” (10 lessons) with full funding and master:

  • Methodological bases of a specific type (drawing) of a graphic image;
  • Geometric constructions and plan (projection) drawing techniques;
  • Create drawings by hand;
  • Creating shape and composition;
  • Basics of computer technology;
  • Use of appropriate tools, materials, and equipment to create an automated method of drawing.

Who can become a participant of the course?

The participants of the course can become pupils of X-XII grades of the authorized secondary educational institution in Georgia, who are interested in studying design-technological and design activities.

How to become a course participant?

By March 31, 2022, fill in the electronic application form and motivation letter, based on which the participants of the course will be selected. They will receive 100% funding for the course from Ilia State University.

Teaching format and schedule:

The study will start on April 8, 2022. Lectures will be held remotely once a week, the duration of each lecture – 1 hour.
The meetings will be held on the Teams platform.

Certificate

Each student who attends the mandatory number of lectures provided by the course will receive a certificate confirming the completion of the course.

Opportunity to obtain a scholarship

In the spring, the Bachelor’s program of Ilia State University in civil engineering will announce the annual “Constructor” competition. The knowledge gained by the course participants will help them to successfully complete the “Constructor” competition assignment and receive a conditional scholarship voucher from the University, which involves obtaining funding with Iliauni School of Technology in case of admission to the Bachelor program in Civil Engineering.
