On May 5, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Ilia State University and the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association.

The document was signed by Prof. Nino Doborjginidze, Rector of Ilia State University, and Gigi Giorgadze, Director of the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association.

The memorandum aims to implement joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence, promote research and education, and encourage the exchange of academic and practical experience.
