On May 28, at 18:30, Ilia State University School of Technology will hold a public panel discussion on the topic: “Why we should study engineering” within the framework of the Education Exhibition.
Ilia University professors and Georgian engineers will tell you how smart devices are created and used, what is the future of computer engineering, how to become a computer engineering specialist and get a job in the best companies.
The following will take part in the panel discussion:
- Moderator: Nana Dikhaminjia, Vice-Rector for Innovations and Science Popularization at Ilia State University, Head of Computer Engineering Program;
- Mikheil Elashvili, Professor of Geophysics at Ilia State University. His group explores Vardzia, Uplistsikhe, a ship sunk in the sea;
- Goga Veshapidze, Professor at the Ilia State University, School of Technology in Experimental Physics, Head of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program;
- Mikheil Tsiklauri, Chief Technology Officer of Apple;
- Givi Beridze, Founder of Edison Tech Solutions.
