On July 27, at 19:00, Ilia State University and the Kings Joint Educational Organization will host a Live-Information Meeting for students interested in receiving an education in electrical and electronic engineering.
The representatives of Ilia State University School of Technology will inform students about the importance of the profession of electrical and electronic engineering and the opportunities in this direction at Ilia State University:
- Giorgi Veshapidze, Head of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program at Ilia State University;
- Tsotne Putkaradze, Invited Lecturer at Iliauni School of Technology;
- Muro Takalandze, Technology Popularization Manager of Ilia State University.
The meeting will provide information on the structure of the program, teaching format and methods, admission procedures, exchange programs and employment opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to ask interesting questions in the comments and get comprehensive answers from representatives of the School of Technology.

About the project
The “Choice is Yours” project has been implemented in collaboration with Ilia State University and the Kings Educational Organization since 2015 and aims to provide career guidance to high school graduates (X-XII) so that they can make informed and independent decisions based on their interests and aspirations.
At the interactive meetings, Ilia State University professors, researchers, students, graduates, representatives of potential employers ‘organizations will answer students’ questions of interest to them and provide comprehensive information on the following issues:
- What kind of knowledge and effort is based on thorough mastering of this or that profession?
- What are the related career development opportunities in Georgia and in the world?
- What opportunities does Ilia State University offer students to acquire knowledge and support?
