On May 27, at 20:00, Ilia State University School of Technology will hold a public panel discussion on the topic: “Women in Engineering and Technology” as part of the Education Exhibition.

Successful women in engineering and technology talk about why it is important for women to be involved in these fields and what opportunities there are for girls in this area.

The following will take part in the panel discussion:

  • Moderator: Nana Dikhaminjia, Vice-Rector for Innovations and Science Popularization at Ilia State University, Head of Computer Engineering Program;
  • Nino Nanitashvili, Innovation and Digital Development Consultant;
  • Mariam Gagua, Digital Product Owner, Bank of Georgia;
  • Gayol Genon, Angel Investor, Health Tech Investment Banker. It has been helping healthcare entrepreneurs around the world for over 20 years and is quite well known in the Silicon Valley. Gail is an active business trainer, advisor and officially a PATH-Gates Foundation Program Officer. He is also an epidemiologist of behavioral and infectious diseases.
