On November 11, the Georgia Entrepreneurship Education Alliance (GEEA) will hold its first online conference.

Local and international speakers invited to the conference will talk about the history and goals of the Alliance, the challenges and opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship education and international experience. Workshops will be held to define the future goals and activities of the Alliance, as well as to share the practical experience of the British STEAMHouse.

The aim of the conference is to bring together members of the Alliance and actors of the Georgian entrepreneurial ecosystem and to provide information about the Alliance to stakeholders.

The Georgia Entrepreneurship Education Alliance (GEEA) was established as part of the British Council program : “Creative Spark: Created within the framework of” Entrepreneurship Education Program for Higher Education “.

GEEA, an association of Georgian higher education institutions and educational organizations, supports the creation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem that will be similar to the one recognized as the best practice in the world.

The signatories of the Declaration of the Georgian Entrepreneurship Education Alliance are:

  •   Kutaisi State University named after Akaki Tsereteli;
  •   Tbilisi State Academy of Arts named after Apolon Kutateladze;
  •   University of Business and Technology;
  •   Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University;
  •   Ilia State University;
  •   Creative Georgia;
  •   Georgian Technical University;
  •   Creative Solution.

The aim of the Alliance is to promote the development of entrepreneurial education and the cultivation of entrepreneurial skills in the community.
